Project visit to Worreh Yeama Primary School

Last week we visited the primary school in the village of Worreh Yeama and witnessed how important it is for the children to be able to go to school in their own village. In Sierra Leone, not all children have access to a school education; most of them have to walk a long distance, which is very difficult and mostly impossible for the younger children. By rebuilding the school in Worreh Yeama, schooling can now be guaranteed in the village. The school authorities were so enthusiastic about the school running actively that state school textbooks have already been supplied. Suyana is helping to ensure that the children receive a quality education and can take their future dreams into their own hands.
